Kathmandu University (KU) firmly believes that fostering collaboration between academia and industry is paramount to driving innovation and addressing real-world challenges. To bridge this crucial gap between academia and industry, Academia-Industry Cooperation (AICKU) is established under the office of the Vice-Chancellor of KU. AICKU aims to create close partnerships between academia and industry for knowledge transfer and skill development along with creating employment opportunities.

Presently, AICKU identifies potential industry partners and formalizes these collaboration strategies through MOUs and partnership agreements. Through initiatives like the KU Employment Promotion Program, AICKU also been providing job opportunities to top graduates.
